Welcome to Jackie's Helping Hands, the mutual aid program I launched in June 2025 to pour directly back into our community. This ain't charity. It is my commitment to show up for my people.
All year long, I'm giving out real financial support to people who need a lift, and I share those stories right here so you can see exactly where your money goes. Jackie's Helping Hands is about advocacy, impact, and making sure our people get what this world keeps denying us.
But let me be clear: if the money runs out, the aid runs out. This program survives because you pour into it. My goal is to give $500–$1,000 to community members who need it most, especially Black folks who've been underserved for generations. That's how we level the field. That's how we build a community that doesn't have to wait on anyone's permission to thrive.

How to Apply for Mutual Aid
If you need support, email me at jackiesacademy@gmail.com with a clear description of your situation and what you’re requesting. I read every message. If you’re selected, I will email you with next steps.
Mutual aid is not guaranteed just because you asked. I can only give what I have, and some months, donations are slow. When the funds aren’t there, I can’t distribute what doesn’t exist. That’s the truth of community‑supported work.
I do this because people deserve care, but capacity depends on resources, not intention.
Look for me as a helper. I will always do what I can.
