Hey y'all, it's your girl, Jackie!
I was born and raised in Massachusetts, and my life’s work sits at the intersection of Black liberation, community care, and uncompromising accountability. I am a community leader, anti‑racism coach, and the founder of Jackie’s Helping Hands, a mutual aid initiative supporting Black women with direct, tangible resources.
My background includes over a decade in corporate healthcare IT, where I progressed from administrative assistant to managing a team of 34 analysts and multiple enterprise applications. That experience shaped my leadership style: context‑rich, outcome‑driven, and rooted in unlocking people’s capacity to lead with clarity and integrity.
Through Jackie’s Academy, I’ve built a Black‑centered educational space focused on our history, our power, and our collective advancement. I teach financial literacy, generational wealth strategies, and practical tools for navigating systems not built for us. I also coach white accomplices through the real work of anti‑racism; not performance, not guilt, but accountable action.
My commitment is simple: center Black voices, build community power, and create spaces where our stories are honored without distortion. When I’m not teaching or organizing, you’ll find me shooting hoops, riding my bike, laughing with my family, or vibing to good music. Everything I do is grounded in love for Black people and a belief in our brilliance.
