I engaged Jackie to be an antiracism consultant for a course I’m developing. Her background in information technology and lived experience as a Black woman in corporate America made her the perfect choice. Jackie reviewed my course and gave me feedback on my harmful blindspots, as well as a racialized lens on every aspect of my white-centered content. Jackie pointed out the realities and inequities for Black and other non-white employees in organizations. She also provided me with the language to describe these inequalities.

I’m so grateful for Jackie’s Academy. I first found Jackie and her work when I became active on Substack in August of 2025. I was feeling lost with the state of the world and needed connection. Jackie’s Academy was my first paid subscription. I saw that Jackie was the type of leader and influence I needed in my life. Her voice is powerful, direct and comes with NO nonsense. It helped me feel grounded at a time when I felt unmoored by fascism. As a white woman and clinical social worker, I was seeking education and mentoring to enhance my personal and professional life. She is a highly experienced leader and innovative instructor. Jackie not only raises awareness, she raises confidence so that I can be more conscious of the world around me and how I choose to move within it. As a woman with white privilege, I want to grow my abilities to decenter whiteness, to confront and to get in the way of micro-aggressions, racial hate and state-sanctioned police brutality. With Jackie’s Academy, I’m in the best possible place to build the mental, social and emotional muscles needed to be “an accomplice” and never back down in the face of white supremacy.

When I first found Jackie online, some of her content was a lil hard for me to read. I've always taken pride in being anti-racist but some of her posts hit close to home & I realized I still had work to do. I've followed her to learn & understand how I can be a better anti-racist && to not let myself jump up & say "not all white ppl" like we're known to do. She's inspired me to become a better person & to openly love Black ppl in a way that is respectful & not centering me. Over the two years that I have had the pleasure of working with Jackie, she has helped me to excel in my leadership skills. I met Jackie in 2019 when she became the Project Manager for the Willow Ambulatory Module. Willow Ambulatory was new territory for Jackie, but she handled it gracefully. She became the backbone of our team.
